The Royal Portraits gift card with a gold crown beside a cream envelope

Last-Minute Christmas Gifts That Do Not Look Last-Minute

It happens every year. The carriers stop promising Christmas delivery and the list still has names on it. The answer is a gift with nothing to ship.

1. A digital royal portrait

Every portrait in our store comes as a Digital Copy Only option. You send a photo, our artists paint the portrait, you approve the preview and the finished file arrives by email. For Christmas 2026, order by December 21. Then you can:

  • print it the same day at a local print shop or pharmacy photo counter and put it in a frame,
  • send it by message on Christmas morning,
  • set it as the lock screen on their phone before they notice.

If they love it, you can order the canvas print of the same portrait in January. Start with the best sellers or the Christmas gift collection.

2. A gift card

No photo of them on your phone? The Royal Portraits gift card is delivered by email right after purchase. They pick the style and send their own photo, which also means they get to choose who they want to be: king, queen, Viking or general.

3. A subscription that starts in January

Coffee, books, flowers or streaming. Print the confirmation and put it in a card.

4. Tickets

A concert, a match or a play in the new year. Tickets are emailed in minutes.

5. An online class

Cooking, photography or a language, bought and delivered the same day.

How to present a digital gift

Print the image or the confirmation, put it in a real envelope and write a line by hand. The envelope is what makes it feel planned.

Still before the cut-off?

Check the Christmas order deadlines. If you are still inside the canvas dates, order the print now.
